Recollect the beginning of the fairy tale about Pinocchio. Look at the pictures below and decide which of them he could have most probably punctured with his nose. Explain your choice.

Look at the pictures and decide what reality is created by their means.

Class assignment 3 (pair work, done orally):

Watch the video and try to answer the questions:

  1. What medium constraints have you noticed?
  2. Are they predictable?
  3. How are they treated? Do they create any inconvenience?
  4. What communicative situations can involve the use of the same medium? Is there any choice of medium in such situations?
  5. Can these medium constraints cause real problems? How should one deal with such problems (if they do appear)?
